5 Driveway Designs to Drive Up Your Homes Value

1. Pavers: Driveways with pavers are often found in the village area's of Boston, Rhode Island and Coastal communities like Pocasset, Cataumet and Monument Beach.  Very durable and many colors to choose from. This design often reminds me of Paul Revere days with candle light, lanterns and horses.
2. Brick:  Brick is bold, beautiful and long lasting.  Brick has multiple uses and can be combined to match your homes exterior.  You do have the ability to change the color to give a custom look to your design. A quick stop at Pocasset Hardware will provide you with a color key and guide to all the paints available to make your driveway stand out from your neighbors.

3. Sea Shells:  A crushed seashell driveway adds character to your coastal home.  There is a little bit of a smell at first when laying the over your driveway, however in time you will loose the smell and gain a beautiful sea shore look.  Not the best choice when removing snow with a snow blower or snow plow but the look may just make you pick up your shovel instead.
4. Stamped Concrete:  Concrete is very durable and moderately priced.  You can choose from multiple designs and colors.  I love this driveway because the house number is stamped into the design to highlite a little more of a unique address and look.
5.  Painted Concrete:  It looks just like brick, but it's not!  This driveway is concrete with brick pattern painted onto the driveway to give it the appeal of brick.  Concrete will require less maintenance than a brick driveway, so if you want more time to relax than repair this is a great alternative.
Maybe you want to add a little flair to your painted concrete with a design that matches your style.  With hundreds of  options and styles to choose from, my favorite painted designs are Roman Numerals, Nautical Themes and your Last Name's Initial with a scrolling Calligraphy Design.
Everyone talks about Curb appeal.  If the outside of your home looks appealing to the eye, then buyers will want to see the inside too!  Ever just pick out a book because you liked the cover?  People are visually attracted to appealing pictures, colors and design styles.  A little investment in creating an appealing design can make for huge gains later.  So get your style on and drive up your homes value!

While the word may have had you confused the first time, here are some essential things to know about escrow—what it is, what it's used for, and how it works. What Is Escrow? Escrow is a legal notion where money or assets are held by a third-party on behalf of two other parties in the middle of completing a transaction.
